Our Story

Get to Know Us

This gym was created from a simple but powerful belief: STRENGTH is a gift meant to be nurtured and explored at every stage of life. For many women and active older adults, traditional gyms can feel intimidating, isolating, or disconnected from what truly matters. We saw a need for something different—a place where people are not rushed, compared, or overlooked, but deeply cared for and genuinely known.​ We believe strength training should be safe, effective, and rooted in science, not trends. Every program we offer is thoughtfully designed, research-based, and adaptable—meeting you where you are and helping you progress with confidence. Whether you are new to strength training or continuing an active lifestyle, we focus on quality movement that supports longevity, independence, and joy. But wellness is more than physical strength. True health includes the mind, body, and spirit. We train not only to lift weights, but to lift confidence, restore trust in the body, and create space for mental clarity and spiritual renewal. Laughter is welcome here. Encouragement is expected. Fun is part of the process. At the heart of our community is faith. We believe God created each person with purpose, dignity, and incredible potential. That belief shapes how we serve—leading with integrity, compassion, and love for the individual. My name is Artie, I am 68 years old. I have been working out with my trainer Nayelli for over a year. I find her to be punctual, prepared and inspiring. At our first meeting she evaluated my body strength, capabilities and we discussed the goals I wanted to achieve for my body transformation. 

 

I also was able to ask questions and observe her personality to see if I thought we could work together. We have been meeting twice a week for an hour each time. She has every workout completely planned and I have her complete attention for the time I am working out under her care. My muscles are getting stronger every week while my abs are getting more defined at the same time. It's actually possible to do that under Nayelli's watchful guidelines. Before working out with her I had been taking a group fitness class at the gym for about 6 months. At my evaluation I was able to perform eight pushups in a row, now I can pump out a set of 35 push-ups . At first I was not able to do any pull-ups, now I can do five in a row. I find that strength training is imperative in my life now. My muscles are no longer retreating , they are now growing larger and stronger. I love having Nayelli as my personal trainer and recommend her to anyone who wants to feel stronger and look better.
